This wonderful half day trip takes place at Garama Village - Garama River, Sabah; located about 130km, a two hour journey ride from Kota Kinabalu. The highlight of this tour is seeing the remarkable Proboscis Monkey in the wild. Seeing the bizarre monkey with their natural behavior in the mangroves is truly a wonderful experience. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the boardwalk in the wetland area to the Base Camp. Rendezvous at the Base Camp for your sumptuous local food dinner. After dinner, catch glimpses of fireflies. After enjoying your light refreshment, you’ll then proceed to a comfortable fiberglass boat for approximately 2 hours in search for the elusive Proboscis Monkey along the mangroves river. Do not miss to experience and witness the beautiful scenery of the longest boardwalk in the wetland area to the Base Camp for dinner. After dinner, catch the fireflies lighting up and decorating the mangrove trees.
